Clare started singing professionally in her early twenties touring the U.K.
performing as a solo artist and support act in theatres and clubs. After
completing two summer seasons as a principle vocalist at Alton Towers
she toured successfully with 'Forever in Blue Jeans' and Trevor Payne's
'That'll be the Day'.
Clare has worked with countless function bands doing corporate
functions, weddings and concerts leading to work as a guest act for the
cruise lines and a residency at the Hilton, Park Lane, while also enjoying
Considerable success as a solo artist and session singer working directly
with Boyzone, Sheila Ferguson, Leo Sayer, and Steve Winwood, to
name but a few.
Clare’s clear, strong and distinct voice has caught the ear of several top
midland producers and has made her a firm favourite when it comes to
session work. More recently Clare has utilised her vast experience as a
competent vocalist and is coaching other professional singers, when she
is not performing herself and working with Roy Hemmings of the
infamous “Drifters” on a project which involves “ Bringing back the
Wall of Sound” and singing hits from the swinging sixties.
